What are the advantages and disadvantages of Guangdong stainless steel casting
- 2020-02-19-

The characteristics of Guangdong stainless steel casting are worse than cast iron. It has a higher melting point, easy diazotization reaction, poor liquidity of molten iron, and large shrinkage. Stainless steel casting can be used for forging of various types and various aluminum alloy profiles. . When you are casting stainless steel, you know what advantages and disadvantages do you often have when you are casting stainless steel?
1. Since the shrinkage of stainless steel casting greatly exceeds that of cast iron, in order to prevent casting defects and welding defects from casting iron parts, most of the casting processes adopt preventive measures such as risers, cold iron, and subsidies to maintain sequential solidification.
2. Due to the poor fluidity of desolvation, in order to prevent Guangdong stainless steel castings from causing cold barriers and insufficient pouring, the thickness of stainless steel castings should not be less than 8mm;
Use dry casting or hot casting; appropriately increase the concrete pouring temperature, generally 1520°~1600°C, because the concrete pouring temperature is high, the molten iron has a high degree of overheating, and the liquid stays for a long time, and the fluidity can be improved. However, if the pouring temperature is too high, it will cause defects such as coarse crystals, hot cracks, vents, and weld bumps.
Stainless steel casting has advantages and disadvantages. It should make the wall thickness uniform, avoid rhombus and rhombus structure, add wood slag in the mold sand, put coke in the core, and use hollow cores and oil sand cores to improve The modest and air permeability of the sand mold or core.
