Characteristics of aluminum alloy precision cast steel casting technology
- 2019-08-03-

What are the characteristics of aluminum alloy low-pressure precision cast steel?

1. The pressure and speed during pouring can be controlled, so it can be mainly used for a variety of different molds, using aluminum alloy for low-pressure casting of various alloys and castings of various sizes.

2. Bottom injection type filling is selected, the filling of molten metal is stable and there is no splashing, which can prevent the entrapment of gas and the erosion of the wall and core, and improve the pass rate of die castings.

3. Aluminum alloy low-pressure castings crystallize under pressure, the castings have dense structure, clear generalization, smooth surface, high mechanical properties, and are particularly advantageous for the casting of large and thin-walled parts.

4. The feeder riser is omitted, and the metal utilization rate is increased to 90-98%.

5. Low labor intensity, good working conditions, simple equipment, easy to complete mechanization and automation of dewaxing casting.

The method to obtain uniform coating of aluminum alloy low pressure casting, in addition to selecting reasonable solution composition and improving formula, reasonable operation, mounting parts and adopting some common methods are very critical in production. The general methods used are as follows:

1. Impulse current: Use a larger current for short-term impulse electroplating at the beginning of electroplating.

2. Reasonably mount the parts: make the parts in the most suitable current distribution, and at the same time not make the precipitated gas block in the blind holes and low-lying parts of the parts.

3. According to perhaps control the interval between the cathode and anode, reduce the interval ratio between the different parts of the cathode and the anode.

4. Use, pictograms, and anodes to improve current distribution.

5. Guangdong alloy steel casting uses protective cathode and shielding protection to reduce the current density at the concentrated part of the power line.
