What is the difference between Guangdong carbon steel casting and forging
- 2019-08-29-

1. Casting

  Guangdong carbon steel castingThe mold is the process of smelting metal into a liquid that meets certain requirements and pouring it into a mold. After cooling, condensing, and cleaning, a casting (part or blank) with a predetermined shape, size and function is obtained. It is made by modern machinery. The basic craft of industry.

The cost of casting blanks is low, and for parts with messy shapes, especially with messy internal cavities, it can show its economic efficiency; at the same time, it has a wide range of adaptability and has better generalized mechanical functions. However, the materials (such as metal, wood, fuel, modeling materials, etc.) and equipment (such as metallurgical furnaces, sand mixers, molding machines, core making machines, shakeout machines, shot blasting machines, cast iron plates, etc.) required for casting Many dusts, harmful gases and noise will cause pollution to the environment.

1. There are many types of casting, which are divided into the following habitually according to the modeling method:

① Ordinary sand casting includes three types: green sand, dry sand and chemically hardened sand.

②Special casting, according to the modeling data, can be divided into special casting with natural mineral sand and gravel as the main modeling material (such as investment casting, clay casting, casting workshop shell casting, negative pressure casting, solid casting, ceramic casting) Etc.) and special casting (such as metal mold casting, pressure casting, continuous casting, low pressure casting, centrifugal casting, etc.) with metal as the main casting material.

2. The casting process generally includes:

①Preparation of casting molds (containers that make liquid metal into solid castings), casting molds can be divided into sand, metal, ceramic, clay, graphite, etc. according to the materials used; according to the number of uses, they can be divided into one-time type and half type And type. The quality of mold preparation is the main factor affecting the quality of castings;

②Melting and pouring of cast metals, cast metals (cast alloys) mainly include cast iron, cast steel and cast non-ferrous alloys;

③ Casting processing and inspection,Guangdong Stainless Steel CastingParts processing includes removal of foreign bodies on the core and casting surface, removal of pouring risers, shoveling and grinding of burrs and drape seams, as well as heat treatment, shaping, rust prevention and rough processing.

2. Casting

Casting molds use forging machinery to apply pressure to metal blanks to cause plastic deformation to obtain forgings with certain mechanical functions, certain shapes and sizes. It is one of the two major components of forging.

Through casting, the as-cast looseness and welding holes of the metal can be eliminated, and the mechanical function of forgings is generally better than that of castings of the same material. For the important parts of machinery with high load and severe working conditions, forgings are mostly used in addition to the simpler shapes that can be rolled, profiles or welded parts.

1. According to casting and forming method

①Open casting (free forging)

Use impact or pressure to deform the metal between the upper and lower irons (anvils) to obtain the required forgings. There are mainly two types of manual casting and mechanical casting.

②Closed form casting

The metal blank is compressed and deformed in a forging die with a certain shape to obtain forgings, which can be divided into die forging, cold heading, rotary forging, and extrusion.

2. According to deformation temperature

Casting can be divided into hot forging (processing temperature higher than the recrystallization temperature of the blank metal), warm forging (lower than the recrystallization temperature) and cold forging (normal temperature).

The casting materials are mainly carbon steel and alloy steel with various compositions, followed by aluminum, magnesium, titanium, copper, etc. and their alloys. The original state of the data includes bar stock, ingot, metal powder and liquid metal, etc. MetalCoffee machine accessoriesThe ratio of the cross-sectional area before deformation to the die cross-sectional area after deformation is called the casting ratio. The correct selection of casting ratios has a lot to do with improving product quality and reducing costs.
