How to solve the shrinkage defects of stainless steel castings

The problem that arises in the production process is the shrinkage porosity of stainless steel castings. In order to solve this problem, many experts have conducted research. Now the treatment of shrinkage porosity by Solid Casting is summarized as follows:
Change the inclination of the runner in the casting;
The second is a reasonable process design; the inner runner is set on the opposite wall of the casting, which is long and loose. Let the molten metal that enters the thick wall first condense first, and condense after the thin wall, so that the foundations all over the ground reach a balanced condensate. For machine tool casting with uniform wall thickness, a variety of internal runners and vent holes should be selected. There are many inner runners, high dispersion, uniform distribution, and balance the overall heat. The vent holes are small and numerous, which not only discharges smoothly, but also dissipates heat;
At the thick and hot spots composed of the stainless steel casting structure, rapid condensation is realized, thereby artificially forming the basic temperature field distribution balance of the casting. The surface cold iron chooses the outer and inner cold iron, and some zircon sand, chromite sand or special coatings choose high heat storage.
